As she carry’s on her rampant success with her previous single ‘Drunk And I Miss You,’ the multifaceted KIDDO returns with her latest, addictive sound. Dead Alive,’ is a stunning old fashioned piece, combining a heavy bass driven beat with an old vintage style piano. The video really does portray the single itself with its old retro feel to it, you can stream Dead Alive below:
“Life is too short. So don’t treat it like you have all the time in the world. Being alive does not mean you live. Lately I was saying to myself, I would rather die than to be dead alive.” – KIDDO
“Death Wish” is the perfect track to kick of the month of Halloween, with the spooky leads building up to a grungy dubstep drop. Next we have “Gyroscope” has its side of simplistic, but also that is why this single is so great ! “Face Off” offers up further hypnotic vox and reverbing snatches of bass. “Failure Rate” sets you into trippy state with its wonk synths and basslines. “MAD,” a relentlessly explosive end to the varied collection.
Wooked on Tronics EP’ sees Subtronics fusing the elements of weird bass with heavy dubstep – exploring the space where fractals and kaleidoscopic soundscapes crash headlong into musical electricity bolts and sonic computer glitches.

The love is no longer alive but I can hold a memento and memory of it with admiration.- Midoca

L.A’s musical career
began in October of 2017 with the release of her first single “SODA.” Now,
almost a year later, she’s finally dropped her sophomore single “It’s A Party,”
and it does not disappoint. Although, on it’s surface, the track seems
like a typical party song, with a danceable future bass drop and catchy pop
melodies, it’s lyrics reveal a deeper meaning. L.A uses “the party” as a way to
explore themes of exclusion and inclusion: “It’s a party and you just
weren’t invited, I tell myself over and over,” she sings.
Hoping to follow in
the footsteps of the pop stars she idolized as a child, L.A, who’s real name is
Lauren Cuskelly, has spent the last three years of her life studying music at
the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. There, she’s worked hard:
listening and creating, hoping to create a sound that’s uniquely hers. And she
has. With “It’s A Party” she showcases that sound to the world; it’s the start
of a long and exciting musical journey for the young artist.
Indonesian DJ-producer Tomatow combines his
danceable, tropical house style with soft, emotional songwriting on his latest
collaborative track with Jfarr, “Meant
To Say.” “I don’t want to see you go, you know I’ll always hold on,”LA singer-songwriter Jfarr sings,
seemingly in a plea to his lover. The expressive vocal breakdown leads into a
powerful dancehall-infused drop with chopped-up vocals and plucky synth chords.
Tomatow’s unique style has made him a well-known innovator of the dance pop genre. Although many of his earlier tracks explored different styles, in the last year Tomatow has dialed-in on his organic, tropical-inspired sound. It’s a switch that seems to have paid off, with releases like “Bandaid,” (also with Jfarr) reaching well over 600,000 plays on Spotify. With “Meant To Say,” Tomatow and Jfarr hope to replicate their previous successes together.
“BEST BELIEVE” is the latest rap
banger to come from Australian rapper STATEMENT. Over tight hip-hop drums and a
booming 808 bass-line, the rapper lays down rhythmically and musically complex
bars, playing off the beat’s
dark energy. Lyrically, STATEMENT intended “BEST BELIEVE”
to be a track of empowerment: “‘BEST BELIEVE’ is an anthem that
depicts feeling your absolute best and that no one can get you down”he says.
From the beginning, STATEMENT’s goal has been to send a positive message
with his music; and staying true to his motto has started to pay off for the
young rapper. His previous tracks are quickly approaching the coveted 10,000
stream mark on Spotify, and he’s
reached up to 11,000 listeners monthly across all of his tracks. With two other
singles already released earlier this year, STATEMENT has set the stage for “BEST BELIEVE” to be a potential breakout song for him.
